We introduce ourselves as an Institution dedicated
to preservation and dissemination of information on Tibetan and Himalayan
studies.
In our humble attempt to build comprehensive
collection of literature in Tibetan and Himalayan Studies many of the books
published in the 19th and early 20th centuries are no longer in print or
available, many of the recent books published overseas are not easily available
in India.
Any assistance in acquiring these books - be it in
the form of finance, donation or exchange of publications will be appreciated
and appropriately acknowledged both on the item and in the Library’s
annual report and records.
